New School Bus

For Nursery/Primary School Ogbunka, Nigeria

In January 2015 Father John spent his holidays in Nigeria. During this time the new school bus was handed over to the parish priest of Ogbunka by the diocesan bishop Most Rev. Dr. Paulinus Ezeokafor. Present during the presentation were representative of the parish council of Ogbunka and the headmistress of the Good Shepherd Nursery/Primary School. 

Big thanks to MIVA Austria, Grieskirchen parish, Rev. Fr. Johann Gmeiner, the following towns: Mehrnbach, Aurolzmuenster, Voecklamarkt, Nussdorf and Grieskirchen as well as other private donors for their financial contribution.

The pupils are very happy about the bus. A driver picks them up at a strategic point in each village in the morning by 6 a.m. and brings them back after the lessons. As the way to school is safe now some more parents have decided on bringing their children to Good Shepherd Nursery/Primary School. Right now 150 pupils are using the bus.
